KeN have been playing together since November 1994 creating original, lovelorn rock anthems. In a recent Philadelphia Weekly Picks column (Vol. 24(#46) 11/15/96), KeN are described as "...the four-piece-all-girl-rock-band-with-a-boy-singer, with a set of bitter punk love anthems."
Our debut in Janurary 1995 at The Hall of Justice with Turkish Delight
was one of the greatest "superhero" capers of all times! During our short
career, we have played warehouse parties and in several clubs around
Philadelphia like the Khyber Pass, Upstairs at Nicks, and even the
Trocadero (opening for Mike Watt!). We have also recorded with John Neri
of Deadbeat Records (Southampton, PA - Guitarist, Bellevue) and
at the Maxi Pad (Philadelphia, PA) with our own singer, Marc Beck. We
will be releasing our first single on Deadbeat Records, late Spring 1996
and are currently planning a couple summer mini-tours along the eastern
seaboard.
