Mourning After

Mourning After LIVE!

I'll be playing live at Pi Lam on November 11th with Bellevue and Mariner 9. I don't do many shows, so this is your chance to catch me! See you at the show - I go on first at 10pm.

I've been playing in a band that has been evolving; there seem to be two permanent members, my computer and I. I play ethereal, bizarre guitar styles, and have just finished recording an album. It runs about 45-50 minutes, although I've still been too lazy to digitize the songs or time the damn thing. Here's the song list:

Side 1:

A Cure In Disguise Distress, De-Stress (How To) Suck (Pigface/NIN Cover) Innocence Lost Alone

Side 2:

99 N20 Balloons (Sort of Nena Cover) Healed Midnight Smile Labyrinth Lullabye (Cure Cover)
None of the covers really sound much like the original songs. Sorry. The rest are all ... well ... interesting. My music is actually taking a bit of a different direction than this album, but it was something I had to finish. I will be putting up clips shortly. Mourning After is primarily a studio band and project that I do solo with anyone who happens to be around at the time helping out. It has turned out pretty well. For sequencing, I use .S3M ScreamTracker for laying down backing tracks. I play a Jackson Charvel guitar with embedded pickups through a Yamaha-550X Effects Unit. I master onto DAT, of course. More will be coming from Mourning After soon - as well as a major overhaul of this page.
